The Strategic Partnership Specialist implements an action plan, overseeing the book production and publishing process to ensure seamless alignment with both authors and the readership community.

Overview of the Job

We are looking for an expert and innovative Strategic Partnership Specialist to lead our publishing team. The Strategic Partnership Specialist will be tasked with identifying and fostering publishing opportunities, directing the publishing process, and ensuring the production of exceptional content that meets editorial standards.

The key objective of this position is to establish structured relationships with book distributors. A strong candidate with capacity building capabilities will take on the primary relationship manager role, responsible for conceptualizing, introducing, and expanding our marketing and publishing ecosystem to reach readers on a global scale.

This executive role reports directly to the CEO and collaborates with the sales team, featuring a performance incentive structure tied to revenue-driven and partner activation milestones, with recurring commissions.


Responsibilities:

Identify and secure high-quality manuscripts, authors, and content opportunities.

Develop and deploy publishing strategies to boost growth and revenue.

Oversee the production process, including editing, design, and printing.

Establish a definition for an active partner and develop measurable key performance indicators.

Provide editorial leadership and oversight to ensure outstanding content quality.

Work closely with marketing and sales teams to promote published works.

Develop and maintain strong partnerships through consistent communication, targeted events, and co-marketing initiatives.

Administer publishing budgets to guarantee profitability.

Manage and lead a team of skilled publishing professionals, comprising editors, designers, and other key personnel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Publishing, Literature, or related field.

5+ years of experience in publishing, preferably in a leadership role.

Familiarity with publishing industry trends, best practices, and standards.

Skills:

    - Outstanding communication and leadership talents.
- Effective editorial judgment and publishing acumen.
    - Proficiency in software technology for publishing industry applications.
